Banding Results From Ritter Farm Park in Lakeville, Minnesota
This city owned park is located just off of Interstate Highway 35 south of the Twin Cities metro area. Banding at this site has been done for 6 years.

These are the results of the Sept. 19, 2010 banding session at Ritter Farm Park in Lakeville, MN. This was the second banding session of the fall season.

The weather today was pleasant. Cool but little wind for banding and lots of birds around.

We were able to set nets in the regular net lanes and we had regular volunteers Sue, Robin, Nick and Kristen with us to help out. The totals for the day were much better than yesterdays session at Carver Park. We ended the day with 7 species and with 5 species of obvious migrants.
